1988 Yamaha XV750 Virago Unregistered US Import Classic Restoration Project
This lovely 1988 Yamaha XV750 Virago has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours.
We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it.

BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS......... The wheels are straight with nice clean alloy and working brakes. The forks and yokes look straight with good chrome. The tail light assy is good as are the headlight and bowl. Instruments look ok and switches move freely. The carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip. The paintwork is slightly faded but solid, fuel tank has some surface muck but looks clean beneath. The seat base is in good condition throughout. The indicators are tidy. Both mud guards are straight and solid. The standard exhaust is solid and bright.
The engine is cosmetically clean. We have had it firing/running & revving on easystart spray but the fuel system & carbs will need attention.
